In order to be eligible for the interview, the candidates must qualify the mains exam in both the sub and overall exam.

•Conversation:

IBPS plays its role in selection process only till provisional allotment to various banks. It is then the responsibility of the respective banks to inform the qualified candidates about their details and connection procedures.

Public sector banking has become a famous career option these days as it comes with the promise of attractive salary, benefits, job security, rapid growth and good work-life balance. The Government of India established the Personnel Selection Services (PSS) in 1975 for the recruitment of probationary officers and clerks in all public sector banks. PSS was later changed to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in 1984 under the mandate of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
