• The Android Engineering team works between Google and Android software partners in the Android ecosystem. The team works in a fast-growing technology-driven ecosystem and is occupied with carriers, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), chipset manufacturers, service providers, developers, and ODMs (original design manufacturers) across the world. Our aim is to make sure that users can able to get the most out of Android.

• Direct Carrier Billing is a rapidly growing form of payment on G Play, it is used by users across many countries. This is a good opportunity to have a direct impact on a product depended upon by these users and by G Play app developers.

Google hiring: job responsibility

• Launch, optimize, and scale DCB(Direct Carrier Billing) with movable carriers and third-party technical integration around the globe. Work with support teams to make sure partner/ technology optimization and scaling.

• Ensure the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing mandatory documentation, technical guidance, and support.

• Perform execution reviews, advocate new features, and advancements, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical issues.

• Improve product feature contributions by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Business Development, and Software Engineering.

• Collaborate with different cross functional teams, both internal and external, including Product Management and Software Engineering.

Google hiring: Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience as mentioned.

• Should have experience in working with Android platform and applications, mobile OEM(original equipment manufacturer), carrier partners, or other distribution partnerships

Google hiring: preferred skills

• Should have experience in web technologies with a focus on solutions and integrations between cloud services and mobile devices.

• Should have experience with one or more of the following: billing, payments, Android, or carriers.

• Should have experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python, etc.).

• Should have experience in mobile device/app development and understanding of mobile ecosystem trends (Android).
